the elites were in a war with the brutes at the end of halo 3, and with elites showing up in halo 4, then i would’nt be surprised if brutes make an appearance later in the campaign.
So i think the gravity hammer probablly will come back (if not then that sucks)

i mean think about it though in all the things in campaign and spartan ops theres no brutes at all so i mean i really do doubt there being brutes and sadly maybe no gravity hammer, but hey? we got sticky detonator, scattershot, a better needler (thank god), a new light rifle, railgun, and dont forget we still have the one and only: plasma (energy) sword. so: 0 U 0 , take the super smiley face, lol.

343 have said that the brutes may not be in the game but they do affect the campaign. also in a list of the new achievements one of them is “Chief, Smash! – In Mission 8, kill 3 Crawlers in one hit with the Gravity Hammer – (20 Points)”
therefore the gravity hammer and brutes are making a return, if only periodically.

Yeah i know what you mean. there may only be one new covenant weapon which is ashame, but hey, you can hardly argue with those Promethean weapons and to be honest I’m loving the beam rifle back in action and the carbine so i suppose that makes up for it a little bit

the other 2 is the Binary rifle which is the Promethean sniper and that other unidentified short barrelled Promethean weapon. But if you look at the halo 4 Xbox site click on characters click on Promethean knight and there is an unknown weapon that is in its hand that hasnt been seen before

Actually, the battle rifle isn’t making a return in Halo 4. It a completely different BR model from the H2 and H3 BR, and I don’t mean different model as in shape. It seriously is a different kind of BR. So the BR is, in a way, being introduced in Halo 4

The UNSC, Prometheans, and Covenant all of one of each kinds of weapons but the Covenant doesn’t have a shotgun (I kinda hope 343i makes one in Halo 5 or 6) and the Prometheans don’t have a mounted fully automatic weapon( I hope they put that in Halo 5 and 6 too)

Do any one miss the Mauler from Halo 3? If you have been playing Halo 4, then, you have been using the Boltshot for a revolver type weapon. The Mauler was Halo 3′s revolver type weapon. Do anyone want to see 343 bring it back as, maybe, DLC?
